Hi,

I'm Sonya and I am here to guide you on your journey to looking and feeling your best.
Let's work together and prioritise getting strong, fit and healthy, both in body and mind. 

I have been on my own fitness journey for over ten years. Plagued with insecurities and body image issues I started training to try to look better, hoping it would bring me the confidence I so desperately sought. For years I would join and re-join the gym, never sticking with it for more than 3 months at any one time. I was clueless about nutrition or how to train to achieve my goals. I would do group classes, as it would force me to work hard, but I always felt bad about myself because I felt like everyone else was fitter and stronger than me, and evidently I would quit.

Then, in 2019, I decided to switch my focus from how I looked, to how I performed. I stopped tracking numbers on the scale or measurements, and started tracking the weight I was lifting and trying to get stronger each session. I was in competition with myself and each week I was becoming a better version of myself. I started to look forward to training because I had a plan in place. I stopped skipping sessions. I started practicing pull ups and push ups, which so many of us see as an impossible goal. I educated myself on nutrition and began eating in a way that fueled my tough workouts. For the first time in my life I felt good about my body and myself. This was a transformation of the body and the mind, a transformation to be proud of! This experience changed my life and my number one mission these days is to help others do the same.
